In the early 60's my family moved to California for about a year. During that time I took lessons from Don Marvin. Don played around the Riverside area, I think. Does anyone recognize his name, and would anyone know how to contact him?

I found my teacher from Tulsa, Duane Bass, by doing a search on the internet, but am not having any luck looking for Don.

Thanks you any help or information you might provide.

The Don Marvin I knew married a gal that was in our band
around 77 / 78 - I sent an eMail to one of the few surviving
members and ask if he knows . I'm almost sure were talking about
the same fellow . Don was / is a very accomplished player & teacher ,
he was even doing the talking steel back in those days .

What ever happened to all that fun stuff Question

Hi Bob, Thank you for trying to find out about Don. Please let me know if you have any luck. It has been so long ago, he may not even remember me.

I don't remember where he lived at the time, but I do remember my folks talking about George Jones dating a girl in the same apartment haouse, and running up and down the stairs while I was taking my lessons.

Thanks again for the effort.

Bob, from the information that you have provided, I went to work on the internet and have found Don in Mt Home, Idaho. I just got off the phone with him, and he asked that I forward his phone number to you, and ask you to give him a call too.

Thank you for the help, it was really great to get to talk to him.

Good idea Bob. Isn't this forum great? 45 years and just a phone call away.
