Beginners Notes #3

Post by Dick Sexton »

Simple, but nice fill lick when used between vocal lines.

Key of “D”, (1 to 4 chord change)

1____________________________________________
2____________________________________________
3________10~~~8_______5B~5B______4B~3B~3~~_
4____________________________________________
5___10~~~~~~~ 8A_____ 5~~ 5A______4A~3A~3~~_
6____________________________________________

Time 1..........&........2.............3......................4 (Quick on the four)

Again, timing is the key. Sorry, I don’t write out timing very well.
Fret 5 is a fluid change on the count. The last pairs are quick.
