Nasville 112 CD input
I connected my Gateway Laptop headset output to the Nashville 112 CD input. It sounds good and volume can be adjusted from the Laptop. However, the volume is fine for listening but too low to practice playing along. Has anyone connected Laptop to a preamp and out the CD the input? I have a mixer but when connecting the Laptop I'm getting a flutter/hum noise. Can't really describe the sound. Dick

I plug straight from my Gateway laptop (as well) from the speaker jack directly to the CD Input jack behind the amp. I dont get a humming sound. Try turning the volume on your computer down, and that might work for ya. Hope this helps.

Regarding Nashville 112 CD input
I connected my HP tower computer headset out to the CD input and it works perfect. The nose is from the Laptop. It even occurs when idle. I purchased the laptop last week. I'll return and and find a laptop that works
