I have always loved this song, and this year I made the decision to learn it. The chords are a real challenge but very satisfying when you get them right.

My son Andy played drums on this every year in his High School stage band, so It was easy for him. The sleigh bells are courtesy of Beaverton H.S.

My Daughter Christa sang the lead vocal. She is the manager of a Starbucks Coffee shop. (listen for her plug)

I played all of the other instruments, be sure and listen for the lap steel jam at the end.

I really enjoyed that. Every one did a fine job, and the steel was right on.

Thank GOD I can use the word CHRISTMAS here

Dom

I am new here and that song SLEIGH RIDE sounds great
I have been playing Guitar since I was 13 now 60 just picked up a Harlin Brothers MULTI KORD 6 STRING 4 PEDAL steel guitar

I like your sound it ain’t Hawaiian or to Country I like the slides you do

I am trying to get a sound I like Not Hawaiian or 1940 Country and not twangy SLEEPWALK style

I hope that I can teach an old dog new tricks ME THAT IS

And I don’t think Christa got her singing voice from you.
Your son plays drums in school I played Sousaphone in school 1962 – 1966

I am going to contact you for a CD
