Some great dobro playing. In the background, there also seems to be some steel. Google search says released movie version used chellist Danielle DeGrutolla.

I recently watched the movie at home and enjoyed it, but what I really enjoyed was the hour long documentary included in the DVD about the sound track recording session. Richard Thompson was great to watch and listen to.
