Beware of holiday scam e-cards claiming "no worm, no vi

Symantec has just this week detected a run of Christmas oriented e-card scam messages, similar to the Storm Trojan e-cards of last summer, which attempt to fool people into clicking on their links by including calming phrases like: "(no worm, no virus)" in the e-card's text. As usual, the From names are forged and may be even familiar to you. If you receive a purported e-card, from a name you recognize, contact that person to see if they knowingly sent it to you. If they aren't even aware of sending it delete it without opening it. If you opened it, do not click on the link. Don't be fooled by the calming phrase. It most likely IS a worm or virus on the other end of that link.
