The Steel Guitar Forum

The M & M Lounge in Gresham, OR used to present a 'Steel-in-the-round' night where any number of players of all levels of capability would show up, set up in a circle and solo around the room. Does anyone know if this still happens? No one I've talked to at the M & M seems to know, but the kind folks at Newberg Music seemed to be pretty confident that it still goes on.

I would also be interested in connecting with anyone with the patience to spend some time with a newbie and his instrument.
