Okay everybody, this is my first steel video ever, so be gentle. I'm just noodling around, showing off the merits of the Jackson Blackjack. I did a few signature licks, and a bit of improv for the last minute or so. The last notes of the video are particularly flat, but I left them there anyway......'cause they're in Hugheyland, and nobody will ever play up there as good as our hero.
I'm going through a Goodrich L10K and a '77 Session 400, amp reverb. Please tell me what you think. I'd like to do a few more of these. The sound is not really great, but it's not bad for youtube. There seems to be a high end hiss on the sound, but I think the nature of the steel comes through.

Good job. The steel and the playing sound great. If ever I can afford a new steel I`d look at the Jackson for sure. |

It sure has a nice clean and crisp sound, how about a little Mansion on the Hill, or Blue Jade for comparsion? Regards Dale _________________ GFI SD10.Vegas 400, Oblong pedal, Rocket Scientist. |

Thanks guys........Dale, I'm more of a licks and runs kind of guy. I don't even know Mansion on the Hill and can only stand with my jaw dropped when Buddy does Blue Jade. But hey.....maybe I will consider it a challenge and work one of them up this week! _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

Hi Chris,
thanks for making and sharing this video with us.
The Jackson sound good, deep low bass and long sustain thats what you want. keep on picking.
