I am looking for a ten-string lap steel guitar, does anyone know where I can find one? I would like the option for extended chords, that the additional strings would bring.
Thank-you in advance for any help you can give.

Look on Ebay or Gbase for an Alkire E-harp-The earliest ones made by Epiphone are the most valuable-the subsequent ones were made by National/Valco and come in models with and without legs-I believe Elderly Instruments has one of the last models that were made in stock for some time now-it has four legs and two pickups |

There's a Rickenbacher B-10 on eBay right now but it's pretty high priced. Click Here Cool guitar though. |

That is the most desireable model (Epi made) E-Harp Though the control knobs are not original the Lucite handrest looks in good shape (sometimes missing, cracked, or discolored and misshapen)
I owned a Ricky B-10
The metal neck which was supposed to give more strength than bakelite for holding ten strings turned out to be harder to keep in tune (than bakelite) with temperature changes and was quite heavy on your lap
This one is WAAAY Overpriced |

Gerald Ross gave them a favorable review after trying one recently. I believe he compared the sound to a Rick. |
