Has anyone tried a 15 in a Hot Rod Deville? And, if so, could you please report the results?

I was able to sqeeze a 15" JBL into a Fender Blues Deluxe Tweed reissue with just a 1/2" to spare from the big transformer. Had to offset the speaker with a different sound board but it sounds great for a 40 watt tube amp. The guitar player uses it every time we reherse in my studio and wants to talk me into selling it to him. Should be a similar task with the Hot Rod Deluxe I believe. Can be done but takes some fitting. Sweet spounding amp for steel if you don't need tons of volume. Good luck.

Al,...I disconnected the stock speakers in my Deville 212 and plugged in a 15" cab loaded with a Black Widow. I prefered the tone of the stock speakers overall.
