Whew, took me long enough, poor Darryl has been waiting going on three years. But then, I've been a busy boy too, I get most jobs done a lot quicker,
Jeff Suratt was a great help in expediting the bottom end of this beauty.
It is truly a great sounding and looking guitar, hope Darryl loves it like everyone else does that sees it. Sorry it took so long.

I’m a sucker for blue and that is a beautiful blue. That combined with the gold tuners makes that one of the prettiest steels I’ve ever seen. Great job Bobbe!

That's one of the most gorgeous pedal steels I've ever seen, and probably plays and sounds like a dream. But just a small quibble - isn't that more of a top shelf customized upgrade (which I myself would prefer) rather than a strict "restoration" (which I would leave to the collectors)?

Dang Bobbe!! That's pretty as a speckled pup(pup = puppy, not pickup ) And gold tuners, too!!

3 years-- sometimes folks do not realise the time it takes for quality craftsmanship, especially when this is not your ONLY gig. I have total respect for builders in that reguard. I have been there myself.

David Doggett, yes, it is more of a customizing upgrade that a stock resto. But this guitar is much improved and all with accessible parts. I try to use the best of everything when I do a "re-do". The Gold Grovers are my trademark. I have done many Emmons guitars accordingly.
I have a '72 Pont. GTO that I spent well over a hundred grand resto/modding, and have won every national car show that has come to TN. in the last year. About the only thing left stock is the title, but it wins against everything it has come up against so far. My best show win in my heart was the "Good Guys" show in Nashville this summer against 2400 competing cars.
Pictures on request. Many folks that have visited my store have seen this car in my resto shoppe. Yes, I have too many projects, but then again, a guy can't have to many guitars, cars, motorcycles or airplanes, (if your single anyway).
David, remember, it's only original once, no matter how well it's restored to stock condition, it isn't original. So, why not do it right when it's redone? But yes, I'm in great aggreement with you, especially on All Bigsbys, Emmons and most Sho-Buds.
Thank all of you for your nice comments, and stay tuned, I have several more projects about to come to completion. Two Bigsbys, Two more Sho-buds, a Triumph 650, A BMW K-100 road racer, (Cafe style). And several not too close to completion.

I'm in the middle of the BMW K-100 cafe racer project at the moment, along with a rebuild on my O-360 Lycoming Piper PA-28 engine. Whew, ever buy parts for these rascals?
To many projects, but sure are fun.

Well, that cabinet hasn't been on Duane's sight, but it could have been if he'd have asked me. This one was a total rebuild for Darryll Stogner of AZ.
How do you get one? Just ask and send me a deposit, and give me a total list of all the options you desire it to have.
I have another one (sho-Bud Pro 1) about half done, I'll post some pictures if you wish. It is natural with red neck and front. Looks wonderful, naturally.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say that "exact" cabinet. But he has some dark blue cabinets with the rope that are just beautiful. I love blue and the Bud visual design just enhances the look.

Reply to Steve "BEFORE" his edit regards Brian Leblanc Yep Steve, indeed it was a 2 door soft top British car from the early 70's, a follow up from the earlier Triumph TR 2 from the late 60's. I'm sure Bobbe knew that and didn't confuse with the great Triumph motorcycles Britain used to produce. My late Brother had a Triumph Bonnerville (rare):) Alas, it's all Japanese bikes that rule here now. Ok back to Steel chat, sorry about that
