I read about Aubrey Ghent in an interview with Derek Trucks. He was talking about how some players can sound very close to the human voice and that someone told him to check out Aubrey. After reading that I had to check him out on the web and ended up ordering a CD (It came signed by his wife Lori and him, very cool). Anyway I just went back to see about ordering another and found he has a streaming video that is live from the Kennedy Center. It’s great!! And he’s playing one of those new fenders which sounds awesome. From what I’ve read they are not the greatest instruments but I’m guessing he would sound great on anything. It’s worth a look.
