I thought I'd have a pop at this one, not exactly Emmons or White, just me again.
Cheers Dave.

Dave, The Seirra is here in Spain but the Sho-Bud is returning to the UK tommorow 11th oct as i got up for sale in the UK. I had a play on the Bud yesterday for the first time in months it felt very strange after playing the Seirra 12 uni, I was all over the place which is a bit odd after i had beeing playing it for the last 27 years ,
I don't think I can make it to Siston in december.
But I did enjoy the meeting i went to when you were there, as you know i don't play instrumentals as I spent so much time on the road with Barbary Coast and Frank Ifield I never got around to learning any ,well not all the way through, maybe I make some time next year and get some sorted out.
I must say what a great tone your getting on you Youtube videos, i really enjoyed listening to you stuff. It's also nice to know how good the British steelies getting... wish I twenty years younger with all the learning videos and other aid's available . Keep em comming Dave....

Thanks again Stan, Jimmy Day is my absolute #1 when it comes to steel. I had the great privelidge of meeting him at the British Steelies Festival just before he died. if I can figure out how to put a photo on this site I will put the picture of Jimmy & myself. It is my Pride and Joy. Best for now.
