I have a 54 model Fender 6 string lap steel with the walnut finish that is in excellent condition. The electronics are excellent and the chrome is near perfect. The case is also in very good condition. Does anyone have an idea what the value of it would be?

George, Thanks for the information. My oldest son purchased this steel for me a couple days ago and gave it to me for my 69th birthday which is tomorrow 2-20.
