Megan is a lot of fun, and the video is typical of her wry sense of things. If you don't dig unusual approaches to lap steel just keep on moving.

I just saw the Last Town Chorus recently in San Francisco at Slim's opening for the Canadian band the Weakerthans. Megan Hickey has a unique style, with a good use of echo and distortion. Nowadays she's playing an Asher lap steel instead of her Oahu Tonemaster.
She's taking a very interesting approach to playing, and I look forward to seeing how she develops her style. I really like her latest CD "Wire Waltz".
