I'm very new at the PSG and I've tried searching for the tab of Buck Owens', Together Again. I can't find it. I'm sure someone has asked for this before. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,
You'll find the tab and audio for "Together Again" and many other tabs on Ricky Davis' excellent website of "Rebelâ„¢, Ricky and Jeffs' MP3 Audio Clips And Tab". The link below takes you to the page where you will see "Together Again". Also at the bottom of that page you can click on the link that takes you to the site's homepage where you'll find a tremendous amount of other tabs+ MP3's listed also. My hats off to Ricky (who is also the moderator of our forum's tablature section) and Jeff for all their hard work in compiling all these MP3's and tabs.

Jeff Newman did an excellent "Woodshed Workshop" series on Together Again and you can probably get it from Fran. It teaches the complete backup of the course, also.

Herb Steiner also has it some of his course work.

Both are excellent versions.

Cool

Jeff Newman has the best I've heard of this song. Not taking anything away from the others. He has the tab and CD, plays it for you, then lets you play with track music with vocals.

Call Fran and I'm sure she'll get it in the mail to ya.

Thanks

Any preference for the key of the tab or rhythm track? The original was C# but a lot of people play it in C or D. In C it's a little harder to play the original signature lick.

I like playin it in the original key of C# but I've heard it played beautifully in other keys as well.

The program I offer is in G, I have played this on the bandstand in G, F, C, D, although G is a great place to learn, C and D appear to be more common as of late...especially with the gals who sit in....

The real point is to learn the positions and apply them to the Key of the moment....

Together Again is not just a song, it is part of a Steel Guitar players Resume.

ps, as always, license fees paid on all projects.
