I just wanted to give an update on the tour. Junior has had some awesome shows, and I've met a couple of great steel players and had some great conversations. If any of you are out for the last couple of shows, I'd love to meet you.

Junior is a an awsome player and I am proud to announce that my nephew, my brothers boy plays drums for Junior. His name is Justin Amaral and he is a talented young man. I still remember the day my brother and I picked up his first set of drums many years ago.

Check out his website for a bio and a schedule when he plays with Junior.

Len, I have had the pleasure of talking with Justin almost every night of the tour. He is a super nice guy and a great drummer. He and Jason both have made us feel at home.

Len, I assume Pete Amaral is your brother? If so, I have seen him play drums for Junior many times.

He is a great example of not needing a lot of equiptment to sound great.

Craig, Pete Amaral is no relation to me or Justin. However, Justin told me that Pete is from our SE Mass area where our last name is kind of like Smith in other areas.

I hope to catch Justin playing with Junior in the near future.

Thanks Len, That is a pretty strange coincidence on both things, I wonder what the odds of that are?

I hope to see them when they come around the NY/NJ area again.

Attached picture is Pete Amaral Playing with Junior Brown at Maxwell's in Hoboken 4 or so years ago.

BTW, Junior is related to Abraham Lincoln.

Craig, nice picture and I hope to meet Pete at some point also as maybe we have distant relatives.

Also, the Red Sox just won the World Series and the Patriots won this afternoon. What a nice day!

Congrats on the Sox, I'm a Cleveland fan, and the Sox have pretty much dominated everyone this year.
It keeps the Yankee fans quiet around here at least.
