This is yet another example of music from another genre besides country that lends itself to the steel.
There is an infinite amount wonderful music out there, and so much of it lends itself to the steel. There's absolute no reason for the steel to be confined to country music. I would like to see every steel player find and play a song from another genre, be it Celtic, Motown, Broadway, etc.
I'm currently learning a waltz by Brahms. Obviously Brahms didn't write the song for the steel guitar, but it sounds as if he did because it works so well on the instrument. _________________ Please visit my web site and Soundcloud page and listen to the music posted there.
