Has anyone seen or heard from Leon lately? The last time I saw him (it has been awhile) he was having some health problems. I'm hoping everything is ok with him. He is such a great asset to the Southwest Steel Guitar Association show and the Dallas show too!...rj

Leon is a monster mucician. The first time heard him play ,which was a long time ago, I couldn't beleive what I was hearing. We have been friends a long time now and a nicer person you will never meet. I too hope all is well with Leon. My best to you and yours Leon, Bobby

Hard to imagine, but did y'all know that Leon played pro football for one season with the Dallas Cowboys? (At least that's what he TOLD me!) I think he decided, if he was gonna have big bruisers piling up on top of him, he could just go back to playing in bars! Whoa!

I'm certainly glad that Leon decided to get his fingers worn out on guitar, rather than stepped on or mangled by the football and the tacklers.......
He's absolutely great, and a riot to visit with.
