Jimmy Dickens 1953 Christmas Song

Post by Ben Rubright »

While driving home from the airport last night I picked up the Eddie Stubbs show on WSM. He played a Boudleaux Bryant Christmas song from 1953 sung by Little Jimmy entitled....'There's no place like home for Christmas'. There was some wonderful non-pedal steel on it. Does anyone know who the steel player was....and perhaps the lead guitar player as well?

This a question: Did Buddy Emmons' tenure with Li'L Jimmmy cover that period?
