Dear experts out there,
Here is a Rickenbacher steel on eBay:

How about that? "One of the FEW! RARE!" with a mis-spelled logo. 
On a serious note: What about the guitar's age/condition? The pick-up is hardly original.

The pickup is far from original and check out the big strap button someone has installed. Not worth much....

I read somewhere how a person specially looks for mis spellings on ebay items because he then can get terrific deals. I guess because he assumes the seller does not know what they have .
I am merely too fast of a poor typist that doesnt use Speelcheck nor reviews he reply before submitting. |

The spelling syndrome benefitted me recently, Randy. I acquired a '69 Fender Princeton amp (excellent shape, stock silverface with the original blackface circuit) for $300 (reserve amount, and I was the sole bidder). The seller's eBay listing subject had it misspelled as a Feder, so it didn't pop on many radar screens. Sweet amp! So, I agree...sometimes creative searching can garner some great deals.

me too. got a gibson grabber bass, mispelled "graber"....went for three to four hundred less than all the others
