Check out this observation on music
from a physics and string pattern point of view.

This actually does have reference for how I mentally process music in composition. I am more pattern ortiented, maybe from Dyslexia.

In particular the 1st Chopin in a Circle seems to
make interesting observations.
The others are a bit deeper and more obscure at forsy observation.

Also note he has software fro free download for Mac and PC,
with this and assorted transcriptions in different genres.

Cool stuff.
