Can anyone throw me a clue as to how I can download some mp3s from the Rebel and Ricky and Forum sites? I'm used to using a mouse with my non-noebook Mac where you right click on the mp3 icon and proceed from there. The notebook has no such option that I can find. Thanks muchly,
steve t

If you are using the built-in trackpad, hold down the Ctrl key while selecting the link to bring up what most people would refer to as the right-click menu.

In your preferences you can also set it so that two fingers on the track pad and a click (easiest with your thumb) will equal a right click.

Just go to system prefs/keyboard and mouse and choose the "place two fingers" option.......I find it easier than opt/click or ctrl/click

Joe, I managed to get as far the first two steps you suggested but there is no "choose the "place two fingers" option" that I can see.

Brad and Joe, Taking it a step further, what else needs sto be done to download AND ALSO SAVE a video or MP3 audio clip? Again, thanks, steve t

Oh I see.....you are using a Powerbook. That may only work on the MacBook Pro.

As far as downloading and saving........I dont understand what the problem is........cant you just save it to your desktop or a folder somewhere?

I'm not sure what you mean, Steve. When you download a file, by definition you're saving it to your hard drive. Otherwise you'd be streaming the file from the web site or server.

You can use the search function to find your MP3 file if you're not clear where it was saved. Press Ctrl+F (the Ctrl key and the F key together) to bring up a search in the Finder, then type ".mp3" (without the quotes) to display all files with ".mp3" in the file name.
