It just hit me that I have 4 different bullet bar models in my arsenal;

Chromed bar by Jim Burden
Black Phoenix/Red Rajah by Chuck Brattain
Boyett lead filled glass bar by Gary Boyett
Brozophonic Hawaiian bar designed by Bob Brozman

Coincidental? Hardly not!! It is quite obvious from these empirical datas that in order to make a decent bullet bar, your name has to start with at least one B!
Is this proof of a conspiracy in the steel guitar world?

Have a happy weekend everybody!

Steinar

Steinar, I've got a bunch of those same bars. Plus the John Pearse Thermo-cryonic which I'm gonna throw into a snowdrift right now. I knew there was something wrong with that thing...

Broom Handle Bar aka Instant Banjo

Seriously, I use the same bars - the first three anyway. It's a darn shame Jim Burden isn't making those great hard chrome bars anymore. I'm just glad I stocked up when he was. The Boyett lead filled bars are great and so are the Brattain coated bars. You're so right Steinar - these are the best available. I'll have to try a Brozophonic . .

Rick, I never use the Brozophonic anymore, but I've kept it for sentimental reasons,- it was my first bullet bar........

Steinar, I know you are way up in the frozen north but I'm a little worried, isn't it early for cabin fever to set in?
Hang in there spring is only 6 months away.

Bullseye ...

The only "commercial" bars that feature TDC (thin dense chromium) treatment.
