My first steel guitar (1947) was a six string Electromuse (which I still have). Alas, the pickup on this one is bad also. I haven't tried to find a replacement so I can't be much help to you.

If you're looking for an original Eye-Beam pickup, you're probably out of luck. I'd look for a replacement pickup that fits the slot and gives you the sound you want.

| Scottys Music in St. Louis will re-wind AND re-mag a Rick pickup....don't know why they could do Electromuse also. They did some work on a Rick of mine...fine job!!! |
