My first steel guitar (1947) was a six string Electromuse (which I still have). Alas, the pickup on this one is bad also. I haven't tried to find a replacement so I can't be much help to you.

If you're looking for an original Eye-Beam pickup, you're probably out of luck. I'd look for a replacement pickup that fits the slot and gives you the sound you want.

Good luck on your search! You might try posting this in the Wanted to Buy section as well.

Scottys Music in St. Louis will re-wind AND re-mag a Rick pickup....don't know why they could do Electromuse also. They did some work on a Rick of mine...fine job!!!
