Looks like Alvino is playing a customized Gibson early model Console Grande in natural blonde maple-I heard somewhere that many or most of Alvino's Gibsons had some custom electronic modifications done for Him-If you get a chance to see an old Buddy Ebsen (aka Jed Clampett) movie called "Sing Your Worries Away" it has some neat footage of Alvino doing the tune "Hold That Tiger" with some trick video work that shows Him playing while the clear fretboard graphics of a Console Grande are superimposed over the screen-pretty cool for something filmed in 1942
