LEAVITT "ALONE" 8 STRING

Expanding the Basic 6 string Leavitt Tuning to
8 is a subject that comes up from time to time
...both on the Forum and in some emails I receive.
Over this weekend I have been doing some experimenting with one possibility and came up with the following ...Low to High...
G--A--C#--E--G--Bb--C--D
As you can see I elected to leave the first 6 strings
intact and made the additions on the bottom end.
Here's a link to a sound file using this set-up.

Some tab for those who may wish to try this.
Any suggestions or feedback welcome.

That's beautiful, Roy. And no slants!

That is so nice Roy
Thanks for the TAB. I will use it tomorrow to refresh my waning interest.

Thanks Lee and Maurie.

Maurie,
Hope the Tab is of help to you.
I did it quickly.
Note the C chord five measures from
the ending...should receive four counts.

Best Regards,
Roy

Great Roy!!

Nice chords and melody. Always something nice to find using the Leavitt tuning.
