I had the chance to do that gig for 3 weeks. What a gas as long as they don't send you a Heavy Metal drummer like they did me. Believe me, he did ok, but I had to explain about 2 beat songs, the little tip on the other end of the drumstick, and a rimshot, and most of all,TEMPO. When you have dancers, Tempos have to be perfect, and right on the measure. I'm sure that is no surprise, but when a scantally clad lady in a huff, is looking at you, and not the drummer, and chewing your butt out, all I could think of was "man she's cute when she's mad."
Good luck, and stay out of the dressing room.
