This is more Atkins Style playing on
non pedal E Nine Six tuning with a few
Pedal E9th. "HAL RUGG" licks.
I recorded this on my Carter using
back neck for the Atkins sound and top
neck for Hal's licks.
Hal's work on Loretta's "One's On The Way"
is one of the prime examples of originality
of the Steel Guitar World and I wish to
commemorate his wonderful talent.
Hope this is of interest to some.

Very nice. I play some of Chet's style on guitar, but have never really tried to adapt it to steel. Hat's off for the great sounds. |

At every steel guitar gathering, there is a void because Hal is not there. We all miss him so much. Bobby |

He was a steel player of the first order and I loved his dobro solo on "My Home's Across The Blue Ridge Mountains"! Such perfect phrasings!
