I had the opportunity to visit the shop of Carroll Benoit and view some of the most beautiful looking and most wonderful sounding resonators ever....
Was able to meet his wife and observe the area where these guitars are all handmade......WOW......what a treat.........Not only first class workmanship on these guitars......but, truly a first class bunch of people...NO wonder that folks who own a Benoit
Resonator have nothing but good to say about the man and his guitars.
just wanted to share this with all the folks on SGF....truly a great experience
carroll hale

I'm sure HowardR will post on this thread, but I can say, having met Carroll and having owned one of his 8 strings that he is a great man and great builder. From a pure artwork standpoint, no one touches him.

When you know the Benoits, you're like family......

Carroll just keeps getting better...I can't imagine that he could improve,...but he always does something to push it up a notch.......he's not afraid to try new things.....

I can't help wondering if that's anything like being named, "Sue."
