Clayton-Thanks for the post to remind one and all to get to play at the Trufant Jam. It is always the 2nd Sunday in October. About 30 miles NE of Grand Rapids, MI.I don't think I ever missed one over the years. Usually good fall weather and a nice friendly session, and a way to renew old Friendships. I really enjoy this one every year and hope to continue in the future. Thanks to Clayton Lyon and Gene Calkins, both top notch players, for putting this on every year....al.

Hey Clayton:
I am flying out of here on Tuesday the 2nd. I have shipped my p/p and I will be there along with Jerry Hendrix and my three favorite gals. Miss Sally, Miss Marilyn and Miss Jaxie.( Old age does have it's advantages )Os course a shortage of old men don't hurt too much . LOL
PS: Where are you Skeeter ? You better show up or I'm takin them boots back..ha

Hi Mr. Al:
You sure can play my Emmons. The C-6th is pretty much standard. I took the 4th pedal off the C-6th neck and put the E-9th Franklin change on there. See you at the jam.Is Drew Howard coming ?

Hey Guys,
I called Drew Howard the other night and he is coming with a different Steel Guitar but, its a secret until Trufant.
Bud guess you won`t have to take the boots back as, we E-Mailed Skeeter and he said he is hoping to make it this year.
We have contacted over 60 players, some are new that never been to Trufant. There will be several new Zum & Mullen Guitars.
Marilyn will bring: Strings, cords and T-shirts.
See you all at Trufant!!!

Hey:
That is great news. I will be happy to see everyone.I know a couple of gals with new Mullen Guitars. They have a couple of ZumSteels also. How lucky can you get.
If you haven't tried the Jagwire strings get a move on. They are fabulous.
Not only is the fellowship great but the fall colors should be on, bring your camera. I got some really great pictures last year.
