Well it's new to her, a 1958 Fender D-8 Stringmaster, a classic. And yes, this guitar has a tone to die for. Like Jody Carver says, it'll still CUT THE MUSTARD! Don't worry, it looks rough now but that roadwear won't be there long. I've made arrangements to have it professionally painted and restored by one of Nashville's best. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT WHEN IT'S DONE! My friend Erv Niehaus just finished restoring a Stringmaster Quad and it turned out gourgous. I think a fine instrument of this calibre deserves a cosmetic makeover.

Aw gee whiz . .
Oh well, at least you got some good pics of it in its primal battle-scarred glory.
They'll make good "before" pics!

So, are you going to have it done in ivory?
