I recently heard a great gospel cd by a steel player
named "Gene Crain", I think that the spelling is correct. Can anyone elaborate on him, or know of him.
Would appreciate hearing about him?

Gene is a great player, and a member of this Forum. He recently had some health problems, but the last post I saw from his wife, he is doing better. I believe he lives in Inola, Oklahoma, just down the road from Tiawah, which is where I was born. This is not too far from Tulsa. I heard of him a lot when I lived in that area, but never got to meet him. He also taught a lot of good players that came from that area.

I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.
