Jerry Douglas on NPR

Jerry Douglas was featured this morning on National Public Radio's Weekend Edition - Sunday.

The story itself ran for more than 12 minutes, and NPR's web site also has three tracks from his new album, plus an improvised medley he did in their studio.

I imagine that Gibson's attorneys are busy on Sunday conference calls, trying to figure out if they should threaten NPR for using the term "dobro," several times -- complicated by the fact that Douglas said "dobro" (or did he say "Dobro," like a Dobro endorser should ... ) as he sat there with his Scheerhorn. Russ - The picture in the article at the end of the link shows JD with a reso other than Dobro or Scheerhorn. Can you tell what kind it is?

Jerry -- Good catch! But I can't make out what it says on the peghead:

It's a Guernesey. (Sorry about the spelling)

I notice it also has a Hipshot Trilogy bridge with roller nut. That's a pretty good endorsement for the Trilogy.......

That's the guitar I saw Jerry play a year ago last June when he was touring with the Jerry Douglas Band.
