Mine is located in the middle of the house, with all doors closed Nan can watch TV in the living room and not hear me play. The pictures were taken standing in the hall outside the door. Notice my inspriration is in a picture on the left of the PC, Jeff in his white suit with the Red Zum. In the file cabnet is all of Jeffs lessons waiting to be learned. Above the PC is a 2 deck cassett, under it is a stereo receiver everything goes thru, to the right is a DVR my daughter just presented me with, a Panasonic recorder from VHS to DVD or reverse, under that is a Harman/kardon dubbing CDR 20, on the right is a Go
video. we are ready to go to work.
The steel is set up on the left as you enter the room, with a large rack to hold 6 sheets of tab. Now lets practice.

I practice in my basement (fully heated and air conditioned) I can play as loud and as long as I like without becoming too much of a bother to the rest of the family.
Emmons PP, Hilton pedal, Nashville 112, and an old dog house for the occasional base lick

I have about half the basement for my music room. It's where us "old goats" get together the first Wednesday of the month (if you're in the area, drop in).

George, I see you have a clamp-on bracket for your lap top. Did you make it? |

Larry, Yes there is a clamp under the laptop. I got the idea from Joey Ace. The clamp is designed for a drum but works great for the laptop. I ordered it from Sweetwater. I cut a piece of plywood in an "L" shape to hold the laptop & mouse pad/mouse. It works good for me, I plug my laptop into the PA.
If you need the link to Sweetwater, e-mail me and I'll send it to you.

I am very fortunate. I added onto our garage a few years ago and added a loft over it. That is where I go to make "noise".

Leon's room is beautiful, you should see the rest of it. Leon show us the Blue Professional you refinished, I know I have a picture of it behind me on the wall let the others see it.

I believe your floor is not level. One of them guitars looks higher than the other. |

Tommy,
I believe we have a mutual friend in Don Shaw (guitarist). I noticed you are a friend of Don's on his myspace page. Don and i played together in the early 90's here in new jersey before he moved to Nashville.
Now he's back in Jersey for the time being and we're glad to have him back. Great player and a good friend as well.
