Thanks to David Levitsky I now have a Fluger. This is a wonderful resophonic that has an amazing full rich sound. I plan on spending time with this instrument and the wood I need to split will probable sit there for a while!

if it is box elder you have some tough splittin ahead.
I learned that box elder splits easier when it is below zero outside.

Randy,

That is the result of the Emerald Ash Borer. I lost a beautiful 70 year old ash tree at the back of my property. The good news is it isn't going to fall on my neighbors house!
I'll have to ask my son how hard the splittin is?

Your gonna love that Fluger Hollow neck with tuned port construction. Flugers have a very unique sound, nice tone & big volume.
I think it's the loudest most balanced reso out there. Dan Dugmore has played a Fluger
on several hits. Marvin Fluger did his home work on that one. Big bang on the buck...

Russ. sorry to hear about your ash tree. I have two on my property. they would be sorely missed if the borer got them.
