Computer tone?

I recently have read about two fellers that are using Recording software and a laptop on live gigs for effects. I had thought of this a couple years ago but I sold my laptop to buy a steel. Ha!

Do you just run the computer through the send and return? Who else is doing this?

Depends on what you are using and what hardware you have. My friend Roy Ayres has a Roland MIDI synth that he has connected to his laptop and the Roland is connectec to an amplifier or P.A. system. That is probably the best option if you are using Band in a Box for the accompaniment.

You can run the audio out, e.g. the "line out" to an external amplfier too, again depending on the program you are using.
