Al Brisco is whom I purchased my LDG from last year at around this same time.
Al is a great guy to deal with. His showroom is a great place to visit too.

Ricky, didja take a look at that Crossover? Nicest one I've seen, and it's a very early one. Zoom in on the changer in the "undercarriage photo. It has the same changer as the early Baldwin era Shobud I'm restoring.

I was wondering ,,,what is the difference in a LDG and a PRO 1, S-10, outside of the LDG being a SD-10.
My Bud Pro 1 looks to be identical except for the SD 10 body

Richard,
Here's a good thread on this topic:

In most cases, the price is one of the significant distinctions, but Al's price is very fair for this guitar. There are many 3+4 Pro 1's going for that price these days.

Not a bad price.
If it was month from now I would try to jump on it.
Edit
I forgot to add I would but I need the bucks to go to St. Louis.

Yes. Sorry John. My mistake. I went back and took another look afterward and realized what you were referring to. (Hence the "deleted".)
As a matter of fact, my LDG has the same (old)mechanics that you're referring to. Someday mine is going to need a good going over as well. So far though, all is working fine. (Something tells me that I shouldn't have said that!
