Looks like an 11 string student model.

I believe Zane built this style of student guitar in the 1970s, in 10,11 & 12 string guitars.

Student model in excellent condition. Priced right. They sound great and play well when adjusted properly.

Steve,
I have a 10 string model i bought in 1971
I still play it.
It had a few problems that I corrected myself.
The screws holding the pedal bellcranks would back out
and the bars they activate.
I drilled them out and installed brass bushings
and have not had any more trouble with it.
I wouldn't sell mime for that price.
Good luck on it

I had a ZB student many years ago, in my PSG infancy.

It had a beautiful tone, but dreadful cabinet drop, so much so that it was unplayable, so it had to go.

However, I wish that I had kept it, as, over the years, and with knowledge that I have gleaned from this Forum, I have developed methods to minimise cabinet drop, and I'm sure that I could have tamed my little ZB.

Yep, a single 11 student.
The RKL looks to on the wrong way or the screw is missing out of the crossrod.
Richard you are right, they did tend to have cabinet drop. I remember trying a couple at Eric Snowballs in Maidstone, and they did flex a little. Maybe having the pedals in the middle of the guitar doesn't help. You can reasonably easily fix a sway bar on them and eliminate cab' drop completely.
They are good sounding guitars and unusual to see four knee levers on one.

I had one for a while... it sounded good but, it did have more cabinet drop than I could deal with. Remember that the frame is cast aluminum, so moving things around can be a bit tricky. The top is wood with a plastic covering... I don't know what kind of wood though.
