I just spoke to Carroll & Anita Benoit (BENOIT RESONATOR GUITARS) & he asked me to post on the forum, that all is well in Mauriceville.
They will be showing & demoing his resonators at the IBMA Fan Fest in Nashville the last weekend of this month.

Carroll & Anita stayed with their daughter in Austin as Hurricain Rita's eye went directly over their house. Carroll said they were very lucky - lost 34 trees in their yard & only one hit the garage & back side of the house. A lot of mold & mildue, but mainly in the garage area. They have electricity but no phone or internet service yet.
I don't think Howard's new resonator warped too badly.

Let's hope they were all 'Curly Maple' trees!

Glad to hear they are well and relatively unscathed.

Larry, there's only one thing that's warped......and it ain't the resonator...

The most important thing is that Carroll & Anita are safe & sound.

Carroll had packed up his guitars and took them to Austin so that none would be exposed to the danger.
