I HAVE A 1974 MSA CLASSIC D-10. THE PICKUP ON THE
C6 NECK, ON THE LOW STRING SIDE HAS COME UP
AND TOUCHES THE STRINGS. CAN ANYONE TELL ME
WHERE AND HOW TO AJUST THE PICKUP SCREW.
THANK YOU!

rick,
if your guitar is a mica d-10 msa there should be two screws underneath the guitar by the changer turn
clockwise or counterclockwise for ajusments. if, your guitar has the pickup pocket there should be three screws on the top 1 for the leftside 2 for the rightside 3 for backside... hope this helps

Hi Rick. If it is a mica guitar, two screws hold it down from underneath like Paul said. If this happened all of a sudden, and the pickup feels like it would come up even more if the strings weren't there to stop it, the screw may have worked its way out of the pickup.

If this is the case, what you need to do is press the pickup down from the top and at the same time VERY GENTLY move the screw around from underneath until you feel it catch the hole in the bottom of the pickup. Then, again VERY GENTLY (because it's easy to cross thread the hole), try to get the screw back into the pickup. Hope that helps.
Regards
Harvey
