I'd like to take this moment to tell area steelers and lovers of the steel guitar, that I have a couple of new gigs in the Denham Springs area. The first is on Tuesdays from 5PM til 9 at Sharps Cafe' and Sports Bar in the Antique District in downtown D.S. and the second is in Watson (north of D.S.) at James Grill on Thursdays from 6PM 'til 9PM. Tuesdays at Sharps is Steak Night and Thursdays at James' is an "All You Can Eat Fish". I'd like to invite all my friends to either or both places...to have some good food and hear some great steel guitar music. If you need further info...please call me at 225-276-8250.....HAL

"to have some good food and hear some great steel guitar music."

What an understatement! I visited with Hal last evening at James' Grill and it was time well spent.

The food and the music were both outstanding. Thanks Hal!

Good Visit...too

Hey Al....it was great to see and be able to visit with you, too. I really enjoyed it...This is going to be a really great gig. I'd, again, like to invite my steel guitar friends, and lovers of the same, to come out and have a great time listening and eating (all you can eat) fish at "James' Grill" each and every Thurs from 5:30 PM to 9 (or after). Thanks again Al...............! HAL

Hal is a great steeler and singer too. I hope to make it sometime. It's quite a long drive from Leesville, but you never know. Maybe I can bring Reverand Gibson and make the trip one day. Good luck with the gigs, Hal.

Sounds good

Hey Hal !!!!
Good Luck on the new pickin spot. Ms Mickey and I might just come strollin in one afternoon, "UNANNOUNCED". You know I'm sorta like a bad penny. (Liables to show up anywhere).

Folks........Ole Hal is a great player and singer and if you are in the area, you can whop two birds with one stick. GET THE OLE BELLY, AND EARS FULL AT ONE PLACE. However, You'd better get there before R.J. makes his run. You'll be scrapping the bottom of the pot, on the full belly side.
:D
And yes sir Hal, My buddy Buck Grantham is one fine steel, and guitar player. He and Mitzi are right up at the top of my list. Good lord made any better folks, he kept them for himself.

Ya'll be good chullens down-air and we hope to see you soon.

HAL

Thanks for the invite Hal. Same goes from this side of Mississippi.

Good luck pal and if you run out of things to do over there, brang it on over to "BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN, AGRICOLA, MISSISSIPPI", and we'll go out there and sit around in them easy chairs and let the sun shine in our mouth. :? :?

Catch U later

Agricola is just as far away as denham springs (I know, I know, lol). I'm not getting too far away from D.S. these days because of our finances. Only making $200.00/week at the moment. As soon as that status changes....we'll try and get over, as I've been wanting to come anyway. Please, do come over when you can, Ben.....would love to see ya....HAL
