Anyone got a wiring diaram for a Rickenbacker B6? I have to rewire one today and have been trying to find the diagram. It has a tone/ vol and 1.25 horseshoe.

Thanks, Rick... I have no idea why my email is not working for you... weird. I thought you were just busy finishing those Dustpans for the HSGA...

BTW what is the value of the cap? I don't have the original...

Anyway ...

There wasn't any "set" values ... seemed they used whatever was around ...

I have old "sausage" capacitors that were 0.02 mfd, 0.03 mfd, 0.05 mfd and 0.1 mfd.

0.022 mfd rolls off less treble than 0.047 mfds ...

Seems that most folks favor this combo:

500K volume (audio/log taper)
250K tone (audio/log taper)
0.047 mfd capacitor

As with just about everything ... it's a "personal" choice ...

A couple sets of alligator clips and some wire ... will let you experiment and determine whats right for you.
