Does anyone know where I might gat a replacement volume knob for my BR4 ?

The original ones were referred to as barrel knobs. These speed knobs are a bit shorter but very close. You should use 2 and keep your other one. They are also on ebay.

I have a clear lucite (?) knob that came off of my '47 BR4. I sent you an email about it.
Does anyone have any clue what it might be worth?
