| ....it'll be a simple design patterned after a 8 string National New Yorker, because I have an extra New Yorker case. Probably won't even have a volume control. Probably put the Lollar Stringmaster pup duo in, so it would have a blend pot. |

| Thanks for the info and opinions, Tom. And it' looks like you're doing a nice job yourself! I'm suprised I haven't found Gilmer, but I've only been in Portland for about 1 year. Do you know of any exotic wood source down in New Mexico? It appears that the wife and I will be heading there shortly.... Again, thanks for the info!! |

Thanks Stephen, I can't play them worth a dam, but I sure have fun building them.
I don't know of any New Mexico shops, but I'm sure there is something around.
A good source of info is to check with a local custom cabinet shop, they will know all the local wood dealers.
Have fun with the build and I look forward to seeing it when its done
