UPDATE: Fender '65 Twin Reverb Stolen
Posted: 2 Jul 2007 7:40 pm
Hello all, another sad story here, the Bendermobile was broken into on Saturday night at Woody's Tavern between the hours of 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM.
What makes this amp so unique, is that it was in a showman head cabinet, not the normal Twin cabinet. Also, the reverb tank is mounted on the outside back panel of the head. I am searching desperately for the serial number, I have it here somewhere, although it shouldn't be that difficult to ID. If you have any information regarding the theft or identification of the amp, contact me through forum channels, and/or contact the Fort Worth Police Department.
UPDATE: Still looking for this amp in pawn shops and such. The serial number stamped on the back is A607575. I have also found out that it is not a '65, but is an early 70's model, modded with pre CBS circuitry.
Thanks
