Is this Gibson all original?

I contacted the seller as I've never seen one with a white pick guard. He contends it's all original. I have learned a few things here and may be wrong again. Is this in fact original?

My ca.'46-7 BR6 has that white pickup surround and clear knobs. Maybe this is a transition period model BR4?
