This Friday the 22nd of June I'll be on steel guitar with the Jim Smith Elvis Tribute Show at the ocean front 17th Street Stage in Virginia Beach. Each year Va. Beach has a "Viva Elvis" festival at the beach in the resort area with all sorts of Elvis impersonators. I've played it for the last nine years on lead guitar but this year I was asked to play steel as they wanted "An Elvis Hawaiian Evening" show which will be different. We'll have Hawaiian dancers and all so if you're in the area, come on down. It's right on the beach and a wonderful venue to play. We'll be doing the tunes from "Blue Hawaii" plus some others better suited for the dancers. I thought of taking my lap steel but with the variety of keys of some of the songs I thought my S-12 pedal rig would work better. I have flower Lei's running across the pedal board and down both front legs (steel legs that is)......JH in Va.

Hey Kenny, I need a couple of hundred watts for this one at least so I'll be using my Randall Steelman 500. I used the Classic Chorus last weekend on lead guitar and it sounded wonderful...JH in Va.
