What's the best way to patch your cable's using a Peterson StroboFlip Tuner and a BoBro pedal running into a Goodrich L120 volume pedal.I had it hooked up a couple of different ways, one in which I was getting some distortion. |

I just go straight from the guitar to effects (distortion then Bo-Bro to volume pedal) If I only use 1 amp I use the second output on my volume pedal to the tuner. If I use 2 amps, I just unplug a cord to an amp and plug it into the tuner. I don't put my tuner in my effects chain. I don't really feel the need to have my tuner active at all times. If you have to use the tuner often to make tuning adjustments while you play, you might need to find out why (guitar, strings, etc.). Often times, I tune my guitar at the beginning of the night and never touch the tuning after that. A lot of times, it is real close to being totally in tune the next weekend when I take it to play. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Thanks Richard,That's the way I hooked it up last nite and it worked fine.Like you,I tune before I start playing and I'm good for the rest of the nite.I was just curious if anyone put the tuner in the chain. Thanks again,Ron _________________ Show Pro #26 & #83,BJS bars,Stereo Steel,Tommy Huff cabs loaded with JBL D130's, Wampler pedals,NV112,NV400, Steelers Choice Seats |
