The link below is to a very entertaining article on pedal steel which appeared in Time Magazine several years ago. I would think someone posted the link on the Forum in the past, but I haven't seen it. The Steel Guitar Forum is even mentioned in the article!

I seem to recall that the author of that is a forumite named Jonathan Gregg. He posted here about it when the article was published. It's a nice article.

I thought that article was fabulous. I'm gonna print up agout 50 copies and hand them out to everybody that comes up to me at gigs and asks me what exactly is that instrument I'm playing ???!!!!
